Together with MAI Engineering Service, Inc., we can offer design/build services with very efficient management systems and low overhead costs for much needed savings for all projects to our clients. MAI Contractors' construction experience and services range from small size utilities projects, stormwater improvements, warehouse additions, office additions, sidewalks and parking lots to marine bulkheads and boardwalk projects.

MAI assisted the City to obtained funding and design of the stormwater improvement on King Street to alleviate the nuisance flooding problem This project was one of many stormwater improvement projects in the City of St Augustine that Quoc Mai was part of the design and construction teams. MAI assisted the City and obtained the funding Grant form St Johns River Water Management District as well as applied to FDOT to fund and complete the drainage improvement project. MAI assisted City of St Augustine with the utilities relocations and construction of the project. The project includes installation of larger storm pipes, inlets, and utilities relocation. MASCI, the general contractor has completed the project within schedule despite the weather and difficult maintenance of traffic.

MAI Engineering provided engineering design services for the City of St. Augustine Parks and Recreation Department. The design included additional roadway, parking lot, trail, and stormwater system adjustment. Mr. Mai obtained permits from the City of St. Augustine, St. Johns River Water Management District, Army Corp and the DEP for all the park facilities. MAI provided construction engineering inspection and management.

MAI Engineering Services (MAI) provided engineering services such as developing plans permitting and construction management for a 2-acre site, including for a proposed 20,000 SF building, parking lot, entrances, sidewalk, retention pond, bulkhead system, landscaping, gravity sewer system, oil/water separator, sand trap, fuel station and paving, grading, ditch stabilization, stormwater, riprap erosion control, and drainage design. Mai provided the design/build effort to help the First United Methodist Church rebuild the existing parking lot to improve drainage. Project includes design and obtain permit from St Johns River Water Management District and City of St Augustine for the proposed stormwater retention system as well as construction of the proposed stormwater piping, inlets and ponds.

MAI provided the design/build effort to construct and renovate the entrance at Marsh Creek subdivision, St Augustine, FL to improve the traffic flow and safety. The residents can access using the designated travel lane and don't have to wait for traffic to clear. Projects includes installation of the additional travel lane, new sensor and automatic gate system, pavers, asphalt pavement, concrete curb and gutter and landscaping.

MAI installed the proposed wooden boardwalk system in Guanna Park for FDEP to provide additional accessible walking trail that connect the existing trail system within the park. The project challenges was the present of alligators, mosquitoes and rains during the construction. The project was successfully completed before schedule and with no change order.

MAI constructed the proposed boardwalk project in Leroy Wright Park, Brevard County, Florida to provide an additional outlook for site viewing and fishing within the park. Park visitor can now have the accessible boardwalk to bring themselves even closer to the beautiful Florida nature to view the waterway, alligators, marsh land as well as a great place for fishing. Project includes the installation of 370 ft of wooden boardwalk system consist of 30ft long 8" timber piling, pressure treated wooden boardwalk, railing, concrete pavement and ADA accessibility.

MAI installed the new water tank at Faver dykes State Park to replace the existing older tank to provide water source to the existing bathrooms within the park as well as provide water source for the water truck. Project includes demolition and disposal of the existing system and installation of the new water tank, concrete support and plumbing system.

FDOT sidewalk projects: MAI was the design team for many of the FDOT sidewalk safe route design/build projects that were part of the stimulus funding from the federal, ARRA projects. MAI worked on projects in Gainesville, Okeechobee, Desoto, and St Augustine. The projects provide additional accessible safe route for schools and pedestrian. All projects were successfully completed in time and with no change order.

TECO Peoples Gas Pipeline: MAI involves with many of the nature gas pipeline design and construction projects with TECO. The projects range from 1 mile to 45 miles of natural gas pipeline in the northeast Florida. The projects typically included obtaining permits from DOT, County and the City, Submerged Land Easement, Army Corp of Engineers and Department of Environmental Protection. Provided construction observation, asbuilt, certification and construction management

MAI designed and managed the construction of the new warehouse addition at Camp Blanding for the Department of Military Affairs. The new addition provides much needed additional air conditioned office space for the warehouse staff as well as additional space for equipment distribution center. Project includes approximately 3,000sf additional steel frame building, air conditioned, concrete and tile floor, concrete block wall, additional two bathrooms, two offices and a break room.

MAI designed and managed the construction of the wash rack renovation project within Camp Blanding, Stark, FL. The project includes additional oil/water separator unit, drainage pipe, and additional solid control weir at the wash basin. This project is the water quality improvement project with its goal is to remove oil and solid from the discharge washing water prior to entering the outfall.
